Red Star 3D are seeking talented CHARACTER ANIMATORS to work on our upcoming production of a BBC Christmas Special for Magic Light Pictures.

The job:

• Animate dramatic character performances, both dialogue and pantomime.
• Animate action shots that are body mechanics heavy.
• Animate vehicles, props, cameras and other scene elements as necessary

Must have:

• Strong understanding of animation principals
• Basic technical animation skills
• Two years production experience (minimum)
• Experience with Maya

Nice to have:

• Confident animating on 2s
• Good sketching and drawing skills
• Acting/improv skills

Contract term: Feb - July 2025

Due to the way our projects are funded you MUST be physically based in the UK to be eligible for this position.
