Red Star are looking for talented CFX / VFX ARTISTS to work remotely on our production of THE AMAZING MAURICE 2. Candidates must be based in the UK or in the EU.

The job:

• Designing and implementing particle effects and soft/hard body dynamics (in Houdini)
• Designing and implementing CFX, including cloth FX (in Maya) and hair simulations
• Running fluid sims (in Houdini, for volumetric FX as well as liquid FX)

Must have:

• Four years production experience (minimum)
• Experience with Houdini and Maya

Nice to have:

• Maya API, Python scripting
• Feature film experience

Details:

• Experience level: Senior / Mid / Junior
• Contract term: May 26 - Feb 27
• Salary: negotiable
• Whilst these are fully remote positions, due to the way this project is funded candidates MUST be physically based in the UK or EU to be eligible and a strong preference will be given to UK-based candidates.
